It is coming early this year, the Triangle Restaurant week is just around the corner. Here is your chance to enjoy some of the best restaurants in the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area at a great discount.
Between January 24 through the 30th, you can enjoy an appetizer, entrée and dessert for $25 at diner and $15 at lunch. For more details check out www.trirestaurantweek.com
(Note as of this morning they did not have a complete list of restaurants up, but check out the 2010 list which is posted to get an idea of just how many great local restaurants take part). Let’s be honest, we all eat, we need to support our local businesses and here is the chance to do both on the cheap, it does not get any better than that.
Last night my wife and I went out to DPAC to see Disney’s The Lion King. All I can say is, “Wow!” The story is nothing special, the usual Disney tale, but the costumes, the staging and the sound were all unbelievably good and I would recommend seeing this show to everyone. This is a great show for families, I can’t imagine a child not loving this show, but don’t let the fact that it’s a Disney family themed show keep you from going, I promise it’s well worth it. As I have written before my wife and I have been season subscribers since DPAC first opened up and each year simply keeps getting better. I love having such a wonderful theater so close by.
